The Hapag passenger terminal has been designed in the art deco style in 1900 - 1902 by the Hamburg architect Georg Thielen. Two years before Thielen had constructed the German pavillion for the world trades fair 1900 in Paris. Completely renovated the Hapag terminal offers a fantastic atmosphere at a unique location. The historic facilities can be rented for events, reunions, concerts and assemblies of any kind.
